In Honor of our Vice President – Rosie Gayton

Announcement: MAHFSA’S Vice President Rosie Gayton has recently passed and is no longer in pain fighting the good fight from her battle of cancer. Rosie had a visual passion for her/our Mexican cultural heritage representing many positive actions within all her communities that she supported! Rosie’s many passions included volunteering within her community through organizations such as the Mexican American Hall of Fame Sports Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, California Mexican-American Veterans Memorial/El Soldado Mexican-American War Mothers, St. Peter – All Hallows’ Parish, & St. Rose’s Parish. She also loved bowling, playing poker, coaching her hijos, cheering on her nietos at sporting events, & was a die-hard fan of the Raiders, Kings and the A’s. Rosie will forever be a part of our organization, a voice for inspiring young ladies positively representing our culture and somebody to be remembered for breaking media barriers in the city of Sacramento! We love you Rosie! Si Se Puede!
